The “Golden Running Shoe”

Lace up your running shoes, gather your employees and put your feet to work for the kids of Kingston.

We are asking for your support for the 8th Annual “Ks4Kids” Charity Run benefiting the Frontenac Children’s Aid Society that will be held at St. Lawrence College on June 13th.  I personally challenge you and your organization to gather as many employees, family and friends as possible and join in a friendly competition.  The team with the most pledges will be crowned the winner and will be awarded the highly coveted “Golden Running Shoe”.  As if this wasn’t enough to entice you, the Senior Team of the Frontenac Children’s Aid Society, humbly led by myself, will come to your office bearing coffee and muffins for 25 of your staff.

The run will be both a 1KM and 5KM race for both professional and recreational runners. The 1KM route will be around the perimeter of the St Lawrence campus and the 5 KM route begins at Lake Ontario Park and follows the waterfront walkway.  We promise a fun-filled morning of family fun, all in the name of a great cause.

All proceeds from Ks4Kids are directed to the Children’s Aid Society Children’s Fund and the sports and recreation program for youth in care.  By participating you will help to change the face of disappointment in Kingston’s most vulnerable youth into faces of hope and excitement.

With your support, the Ks4Kids race will be bigger and better this year and you will significantly help the deserving youth of Kingston’s community.

More information on getting ready for the race, race routes, prizes for best time, most pledges, as well as registration and pledge forms available at www.ks4kids.ca.  See you on the Start Line at 9am, on June 13th.
